Librarians and Principals would agree with that statement. Maine based magician Conjuring Carroll also agrees with it.
Conjuring Carroll has developed 2 reading shows, designed to encourage young and old readers the joy of reading. His standard show encourages the importance and benefits of knowing how to read, what type of books there are, the Dewey decimal system, and a special place called the Library! This standard reading magic show covers many of the encouraging features of reading. A perfect fit for any school enrichment program or family literacy event.
His second show is an annually changing show to follow suit to the Maine Summer Reading Program. Each years theme is different so each year Conjuring Carroll designs a new show just for the summer reading program. In this program reading is still the emphasis, but is presented under the summer reading theme. This is a great opportunity for libraries to have an entertainer come in during their summer reading program as a special event and still be in their summer reading theme!
